A full race schedule is proof that I'm choosing to live in this world instead of on it. Each race is a guaranteed adventure for the heart, mind, and soul.

Hungry, Hungry Hippo
Yes, we have all played this game. In fact, I wish I were right now. Instead I am trying to keep from eating EVERYTHING in site!! I feel like one of these Hippo's going for every crumb put in front of me! It's not cool.
i gained 19 pounds (no BS) in the six weeks following my decision to stop training. it takes some getting used to not being able to eat everything in site when your body is so used to burning the amount of calories you consume for the type of training you are doing. i'm just now beginning to understand that & regain my girlish figure. my advice - enjoy it while it lasts & eat something for me!
Comic relief and purveyor of all things rad. Mommy to Asher Andrew and Presley Edith - my miracles and loves. Colleen loves kale, flipflops, Dr. Seuss, singing too loudly, gallivanting, March Madness, palindromes, strawberries, Elvis Presley, a cappella song groups and (of course) owls. She has been charged with (and found guilty of) overusing the exclamation point! When she’s not non-profiting, you can find her practicing yoga, putting a needle on the record player, devouring a book or a new play, changing the world and doing her laundry. Colleen does not play the violin. While on her way back to singing and acting again she is also a mediocre writer and a compassionate friend to all. That is her, in a tiny nutshell you might say.
